Athletics is an integral part of the total educational experience at Ridgefield High School. It is our goal to build a strong, unified athletics program where athletes, coaches, parents, and community members work together as partners to provide our students with a positive and rewarding experience.
We have a great team of passionate and dedicated coaches who understand our athletics program is about more than just competition and winning. We encourage our athletes to strive for excellence and perform at their highest level both academically and athletically. Our daily work in the athletics department encourages student-athletes to realize their potential and develop the RHS Core Values of Collaboration, Innovation, Mindfulness, Communication, Knowledge and Resilience.

ATHLETICS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Winter Parent-Player Kickoff Meeting:

November 19 - 6:30 PM RHS Auditorium

All students planning to participate in a winter sport are encouraged to attend with their parents/guardians. At this meeting we will share important information relative to all winter sports, then each program will have its own breakout session to share sport-specific information including tryout details.

Winter Registration through PowerSchool will open Nov. 1
New/updated physicals can be emailed anytime to our Head Athletic Trainer, Rachel Marino, at rmarino@ridgefieldps.net

FCIAC Cup Runners-up 24-25: The FCIAC Cup is an award given annually by the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) to the high school in the conference that demonstrates the best overall athletic performance throughout the year. Way to Go Tigers!!!
