This is where I seek to promote certain petitions addressing social issues, issues that are important to me, or issues that I feel deserve more attention.
This petition is regarding a safe route for children and families in Gaza (https://c.org/5wQ5qZ8VSV). Now, to preface this, I understand some people reading this may feel concern I am picking a particular side in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, or that the use of my platform in such a way may veer into politics, or that my decision to post a petition supporting Palestinians means I am anti-semitic for not posting a petition supporting Israel. To be clear here, I have nothing against Israelis or Jewish people; if such a petition existed for getting Israeli children and families out of Israel to avoid bombardment, I would post that right here, side by side with the petition to get Palestinians out. However, I was moved by the courage of this petition's author, and felt this was not a political duty, but simply a duty as a fellow human being to support those who needed help.
This petition was created by a student from Hong Kong, and requests that the United Nations intervene and send troops to support the people of Hong Kong (https://c.org/CGP4nZpfF6), who the Chinese government is brutally repressing. Even though this is an old petition, it is still a worthy cause to support as China continues to oppress the people of Hong Kong.
A similar petition exists regarding Nepal (https://c.org/g9vQHpPTXQ) and a petition for Internet in Iran during the protests (https://c.org/zdTZcKRJgJ)
This petition is to oppose the US and Israel's war in Iran: https://resist.bot/petitions/PDUWPD and also this petition https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-no-war-on-iran/; I have not found any petitions directed to the Israeli government, but these primarily target the US government which is allied with Israel.
This petition is to oppose America taking over Greenland (https://c.org/bFJLnRmJgG)
This petition is focused on the issue of deforestation in India (https://c.org/MW6M7kyf5X), specifically of the Tapovan region
