Hi!  I'm Lauren Lutz (rhymes with "boots,") and I'm the choral music educator at Richmond Senior High.  I've been teaching music for Richmond County Schools (with a brief pause for administration, instructional coaching, and 3rd grade teaching,) and I have had the honor of teaching here at my alma mater, since January 2023.    

I'm a graduate of Richmond Senior High, UNC-Chapel Hill (BA - Music, Master of Arts in Teaching), and UNC-Pembroke (Master of School Administration).  As a musician, I bring a wide variety of musical experiences to the table, and it's my hope to create many musical opportunities for my students.  My vision is to empower students to be independent musicians who are inspired to use their talents to bless others.

I'm married to Jason, a pastor, and we have three teenaged children.  If you can't find us at school or church, we're probably at a soccer field or a tennis court.
