Hello! My name is Anna Nole. I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT) at Richmond County Public Schools. I am the voice behind most instructional videos this year. I have been dedicating a lot of my time to help teachers, and students, learn Canvas and this new form of learning. I am looking forward to helping teachers create engaging lessons that incorporate technology and STEM.
I am originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, near Scranton, PA. Any Office fans? I graduated in 2015 from Misericordia University with my bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I started my career at Richmond County right out of college and spent two years as a 4th grade teacher. I then moved to Kindergarten for three years and now serve as the county's ITRT. I have a strong love for technology and using it in the classroom. Technology is more than just a computer or tablet!
I also serve as the cross country coach for the high school. I love running and helping my athletes improve their running. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, visiting my family, making earrings, and relaxing at home with my cat, Eleanor.
If you need to reach me, you can email me at anole@richmond-county.k12.va.us or call me at 804-333-6554.
This is how I look when I'm making videos. Microphone and headphones ready to go!
Here I am with my cross country team. We may be small, but we know how to have fun! I'm looking forward to being able to coach them again soon.
This is my cat, Eleanor Meredith Nole. I've had her for 4 years now and she loves to lay in my lap!
