In 5th grade, we align our curriculum and content to the PA Core Standards. We use Everyday Mathematics as our main tool for guiding our instruction. From there, we supplement with necessary resources, materials, and online programs to ensure all students are learning and meeting their potential as well as mastering the 5th grade State Standards.

Study Island is one of our online resources used weekly. It is also directly aligned to PA's Mathematics Standards. Students will use it to further enrich the weekly skills learned. You can also access it from home at any time to give your child extra practice!
Get More Math is another online resource students use daily. It is a "Spiral Review" where students complete assigned problems for new content, but then can access the Spiral Review to constantly practice previously learned concepts. This can be used at home at any time, too!
Finally, Reflex Math is the place to go to have your child practice his/her basic facts in Multiplication & Division! When basic facts are rote memorized, it allows students to solve complex problems with much more ease. This can also be used from home at any time!
