Final Review Materials

  • Below you will find links to review problems for the Advanced Physics final test.
  • The final will be problem solving ONLY! Partial credit will be given.
  • Also, after several days of trying them on your own I will post the worked out solutions.
  • Be sure to have questions ready on the day(s) we go over them in class.
  • I've also posted a copy of the same equation sheet you will be given on the actual final. Every general equation from the entire year will be present on this sheet. It is still up to you to know when and where it is appropriate to use all equations. Noted under the equations are things you should now but WILL NOT be given.
  • On the actual final all necessary numerical constants will be given other than g!
  • The final will consist of two sections. Section one will contain 12 shorter and/or less challenging problems of which you will have your choice of any 8 to complete. Section two will contain 10 longer and/or more challenging problems of which you will have your choice of any 6 to complete. This will allow for some flexibility if you do not remember how to do several types of problems.
  • ATTEMPTING TO TAKE THE FINAL EXAM WITHOUT REVIEWING THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS WILL LIKELY END WITH A VERY LOW SCORE!!!!!! THE FINAL IS 15% OF YOUR OVERALL GRADE FOR THE COURSE!!!!!
