Work Based Learning offers students opportunities to explore and prepared for today's workforce. WBL assist students with career focused Internships, Job Shadowing, Career Based Field Studies, and Work place experiences. Students have the opportunity to build Resume's, Online portfolios, as well as provide experience of filling out job applications and mock interviews. Join our Work Based Learning Google Classroom. Students have the opportunity to use an excused absence to experience actual on the job daily activities through Job Shadowing with parents, workers in specific career fields or through experiences provided by the Midlands Area Business Alliance. Students must complete paperwork before and after this experience.

Written agreements between business and the school district allow students to get on the job training in their chosen career path and in some cases, earn Course Credit and College and Career Status. Prearranged agreements are used to determine the length of the internship and amount of credits that will be earned. In some cases, students can participate in internships during the summer.
