Teaching Philosophy

Equality and equity are the principles that guide my teaching philosophy. I treat my student fairly and equally, but I am also aware of the fact that every student is unique in his/her learning skills and abilities. I strive to create an inclusive atmosphere in class in which all students, regardless of their ethnicity, language ability, race, and socioeconomic status, feel comfortable and enjoy learning collectively. It is based on such understanding that I use a diverse range of teaching strategies and pedagogical techniques to accommodate the different needs and interests of my students.
