Ridge View's Student Council was recognized as a 2026 National Gold Council of Excellence by the National Student Council (NatStuCo).
Ridge View's Student Council was recognized as a South Carolina Association of Student Councils (SCASC) Honor Gold Council.
Elijiah Lawson was inducted into the Terry McCoy Hall of Fame at the 2026 SCASC State Convention.
At the 2026 SCASC State Convention, Ridge View won the following awards: 2nd place Recreational Activities for the Sweetheart Dance, 3rd place Spirit/Pride for the Spirit Squad, 3rd place for Fundraising for Kiki's Spirit Night, and 3rd place Video for Winter Wishes.
During the 2025 SASC Conference, we won 1st place for Community Service Fundraising project: Winter Wishes 2024.

Tatiyana James was inducted into the Terry McCoy Hall of Fame.
During the 2025 SCASC State Convention, Elijiah Lawson was elected Chair of District 4 making Ridge View the host for the District 4 Rally in October 2025. We also won the following awards: 1st place Spirit/Pride for #NextLevel Pep Rallies, 1st place Leadership Activities for ”It’s Time to Lock-In,” and 3rd place Recreational Activities for Haunted Hallway.
During the 2025 SASC Conference, we won 2nd place for Print Media for #NextLevel Flyers.

Mikayla Spencer was inducted into the Terry McCoy Hall of Fame.
During the 2024 SCASC State Convention, future Blazer Imani Anderson was elected Second Vice Chair of District 4.

At the 2023 SCASC State Convention, Ridge View won the following awards: 2nd Place School Spirit for Cominghome; 1st Place Leadership Activities for the Pen Pal Project, and 1st Place Video for the Sweetheart Dance.
During the 2023 SCASC State Convention, Tatiyana James was elected Chair of District 4.
At the 2022 SASC Convention, Ridge View won the following awards: Homecoming Project: “Homecoming 2022: B.E.T. Blazer Entertainment Television” and Leadership Outreach/Mentoring Project: “The Pen Pal Project.”

At the 2022 SCASC State Convention, Ridge View won the following awards: 2nd Place Recognition Project for Teacher of the Month; 3rd Place School Spirit for Homecoming 2021.
Paige Fennell was elected President of the SCASC Advisors Association.

At the 2021 SCASC State Convention, Ridge View won the following awards: 2nd place Recognition for Feel Good Friday, 2nd place Video for National Unity Day, and 1st place Recreational Activities for Senior Sunrise.

Christa Joby was inducted into the Terry McCoy Hall of Fame.
Principal Dr. Brenda Mack-Foxworth was recognized as the Administrator of the Year.
Heaven Lawson was elected the SCASC District 4 Vice Chair.
At the 2020 SCASC State Convention, Ridge View won the following awards: 1st place for the Poster Project, 1st place School Spirit for New Kids on the Block Spirit Week, and 1st place Recreational Activities for Kindness Month.
