Chromebook Insurance 2019-2020 for Enrollees After 9/2

You can now sign the RUP (responsible use policy) on-line in Parent Portal. The $20 Technology Insurance fee can be paid on-line there as well. The fee must be paid in full 30 days after you enroll/register for the 2019-2020 school year. After 30 days from registration, you will not be able to pay for insurance and the student assumes all financial responsibility for the chromebook.

It covers one incident of accidental damage or theft (with a theft report) per school year. We strongly recommend the insurance fee be paid once the student has their assigned chromebook. If damage occurs before insurance is paid, the student will be assessed the full cost of the repair or replacement. For example, a broken LCD screen is $150 to repair. A keyboard is $75. Please pay ASAP after enrollment.
