Dance

The Palmetto Center for the Arts is School District Two' High School Fine Arts Magnet. Nationally recognized and the recipient of the John F. Kennedy Center Creative Ticket award for outstanding achievement in arts education, the program includes dance, music, theatre, and visual arts. The innovative and comprehensive curriculum provides students a strong foundation in the skills and knowledge to enter top-level colleges, universities or conservatories. In the Dance program, students take a dance technique class each day (ballet, jazz or contemporary). Palmetto Center for the Arts Dancers compete in Regional competitions and are involved in two major ballet productions every year.
