Camille Stack is a 25-year veteran music educator in Richland School District Two. She earned her undergraduate degree and Masters of Education from Southern Wesleyan University.
She is a product of Richland 2 schools (K-12: Windsor, E.L. Wright, Dent and Richland Northeast High School).
Camille has participated in many professional and community leadership roles as well as receiving numerous awards in the field of education.
Among some of her accomplishments, she was
· featured in the Urban Educator magazine the March 2003 edition
· the recipient of the SC Arts Curricular Grant (2002 – 2003)
· named The Greenville News “Teacher of the Week”
· the following year highlighted by the local Greenville WYFF News Channel 4 for initiating the first elementary strings program in Greenville County’s school district
· the first VH1 “Save the Music” foundation grant recipient for the $50,000 state-of-the-art keyboard lab for the state of South Carolina
· also the recipient of the VH1 “Save the Music” promotional tour award with a visit by guest composer/keyboardist David Bryan of the rock group Bon Jovi
· the recipient of over $200,000 in educational grant awards
· “Teacher of the Year” for Cone Primary School (2002 – 2003)
· “Teacher of the Year” for Windsor Elementary School (2008-2009)
"Teacher of the Year" for the Center for Knowledge North Magnet School (2020 - 2021)
Camille has a 16-year old son named Adam. She loves to laugh, sing, play instruments, attend church, listen to audiobooks, read, travel, tinker with the latest technology gadgets, play board games and card games, and spend time with family and friends.
