Hello my name is Ms. Nancy Riley, I'm the cosmetology instructor here at Northeast. I was born and raised in Elkton, Maryland where I graduated from Elkton High School in 1984.

After high school I joined the US Army for 5 years and had the awesome chance to visit many countries like England, Germany, France, Denmark, and Jordan. I also lived in different states like Georgia, Kansas, Alabama, and here in South Carolina. I served in The Army National Guard for 2 years as a proud Specialist 4. I'm very proud to be a United Stated Army veteran.

In 1994 I graduated from Duncan Academy of Cosmetology in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1999 I received my instructor's license here in Columbia, SC. My combined time in the business as a stylist /instructor is 24 years and still counting. I'v been teaching at Northeast for the past 15 years and even though my job can be challenging I enjoy what I do because of my students enthusiasm to learn theory and hands-on skills.
In 1994 I graduated from Duncan Academy of Cosmetology in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1999 I received my instructor's license here in Columbia, SC. My combined time in the business as a stylist /instructor is 24 years and still counting. I'v been teaching at Northeast for the past 15 years and even though my job can be challenging I enjoy what I do because of my students enthusiasm to learn theory and hands-on skills.
My goal here is for all my students is to become a SC Licensed Cosmetologist before graduating high school with the required 1,540 hours and passing both the Theory & Practical Examinations. My students will have a outstanding opportunity to become gainfully employed directly after graduation.
