Welcome Students and Parents, 

Although this is my fifth year at Westwood, I still consider myself a new member of the Redhawk family.  I have worked in education for a total of 15 years, teaching both Health/PE and Athletic Training in North Carolina for just over ten years. In addition to my teaching duties in North Carolina, I also served as the Head Athletic Trainer in my former schools.  After nearly eleven years in education, I took a break from teaching in order to serve my community as a Firefighter/EMT. I was  in the Fire Service for nearly four years. While I loved this chapter of my life, I ultimately made the decision to come back to my true passion- teaching. This year will be my third year at Westwood High School teaching Health Science.

I am looking forward to another exciting year as a Redhawk!
