Meet Mrs. Fain

I am so excited to teach second grade at CFK-North! Second grade is the awesome because we go on fabulous field studies, learn about some of the coolest parts of history, and because 2nd GRADERS are simply the best!

I grew up just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where my family still lives, and I love to cheer for the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. I came down south to attend the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) where I got a degree in Studio Art from the Honors College. Teaching, in one form or another, has always been my passion, and I returned to USC to get a masters in Elementary Education. My favorite subject to teach is writing.

I live with my husband, Elias, and our Miniature Dachshunds named Waffles and Artie. Check out their pictures below!

I absolutely love being outside and being active. I like to walk and run, read and write, travel anywhere, and do anything that involves art or creativity. I also love puzzles, Harry Potter, and all things fall! I'm always excited to talk about great books and current events.
