I began my career in Adult Education where I worked as an Adult Education Counselor. I worked with students that were previously separated from their secondary education. The goal for each student was to earn their secondary diploma and then pursue a post-secondary credential.
I then transitioned into the traditional school setting where I worked as support staff. I served as a Career Development Counselor over the federally funded Carolina Alliance for Technology grant in Richland 2. I worked with students to help explore post-secondary opportunities in computer science and engineering.
I later became a School Counselor and I worked with students to promote positive and healthy lifestyle choices, pursue their post-secondary ambitions, and maximize their learning potential.
Currently, I am an Administrator and I work to maximize student learning, enhance teacher quality, and improve student achievement.
