The South Carolina Association of Student Councils was organized to develop student leadership, good citizenship, and cooperation among the student councils in the state.

SCASC is a non-profit organization dedicated to …

1) developing student leadership, good citizenship, and cooperation among the student councils of this state,

2) serving as an incentive for the organization of more student councils in this state,

3) dealing with the problems of common interest to middle, junior high, and senior high schools throughout the state, and

4) representing the student councils of South Carolina in public affairs.

***Membership is open to student councils in schools with grade levels 6 -12.***
