Meet Ms. C.


Ms. Crothers received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Ms. Crothers earned her Masters in Special Education specifically Learning Disabilities. She has earned National Board status in ECYA K-12 in 2003 and recertification in 2013. Ms. Crothers taught P.E. for her first 5 years of teaching and then became a Resource / Support Lab Teacher for students with disabilities.

Ms. Crothers was born in Pennsylvania but raised on a farm in Ohio . After attending River High School, she enrolled at West Liberty State College and thereafter attended College of Charleston in South Carolina where she earned her degrees. Ms. Crothers has lived at the lake and the beach in SC and loves them both. She taught at Saluda Middle School for 4 years and at Georgetown High School for 15 years. She currently lives Blythewood area with her dog (Pita). Ms. Crothers enjoys various hobbies including reading, paddle boarding, geocaching, and attempting to play golf.
