When you go to the website, click on "Try Web Version", select a mixing version, and then click the play button. To start mixing, drag the icons to the men and they will begin making songs! Grab your headphones and start having fun!

Start by watching this read aloud of "What To Do With A Box" by Jane Yolen. Your challenge is to create something useful out of a box. You may research ideas online or just use your imagination! You may use a large box, cereal box, tissue box, etc. Make sure you send me a picture of your creation!
Watch this read aloud called, "Tough Boris" by Mem Fox. Can you create a boat that will float? Choose a material to create a boat that will float in water. You may use aluminum foil or any other material. Your second challenge is to see how many pennies your boat can hold and still float. Send me videos or pictures!
Start by watching this read aloud called "Roller Coaster" by Marla Frazee. Design a ramp that will allow an object to roll at least 12 inches. It would be fun to choose 3 objects to test. Here are a few requirements:
Must be freestanding (you can't hold the ramp)
You must not touch the object once it starts rolling
You may work with others
Go to this website Fold 'N Fly and choose 2 airplanes to fold. You may need scissors for some. After building both aircraft, take them outside and see which one flies the farthest. You are free to fold as many as you can. Email me a picture of the airplane that won the flying challenge. Please include your name and teacher name! Happy Flying!
Watch the read aloud, Little Red Fort by Brenda Maier on YouTube. After watching this fun retelling of the Little Red Hen, draw up some plans and build your very own fort. After building take a picture of it and send it to my email (located above). Make sure you include your name and teacher name.

With these unprecedented times, we are challenged with getting creative with limited resources and social distancing. I'm challenging families to design your own sport or game using household materials. This can be a completely new activity or a modified version of a game or sport that already exists.
Use the Design Process to help with your creation. Please send instructions for your game or sport to be shared with other students. This can be done as a typed document or video instructions.

Make sure you label everything you would love to include. Take a picture of your drawing or use Google Drawing to create your blueprint. Complete the Google Form to send me your plans.
