Note: Asking these questions after the first week may result in funny looks.
- What room are we in?
- What time does this class get out?
- Check your ID, the schedule for everyday is on the back.
- Do we have a textbook?
- Yes we do, and you will receive a physical copy of the textbook during the beginning of the semester. In this class, you will be using the textbook at home for reference material.
- When is your tutoring?
- I am available for tutoring during lunch on Tuesday and Thursday.
- Remember to fill out a Tutoring Request Form!
- How much are quizzes, tests, or labs worth in this class?
- Use your resources and check the Course Requirement form found here.
- When do you consider someone tardy?
- You are tardy if you are not physically in room 814 when the tardy bell is over.
- What is your cell phone policy?
- I expect all students to use their technology properly. The use of cell phones should not hinder any learning opportunities for students. Students will not use phones in the laboratory unless given permission. I reserve the right to remove any cell phone distraction.
- When is this assignment due?
- Check Google Classroom or PowerSchool.
- Can I turn this assignment in late?
- Lab Reports: 10% off per day
- Peer reviewed/edited materials will not be accepted late.
- Daily Work: 10% off per day until the major assessment for that unit is given. No credit will be given for late unit work after the major assessment is given.
- Do you give extra credit?
- Yes! I do my "extra credit" through the Pocket Points app. Go to https://pocketpoints.com/ to download the app. I will be explaining how I use it in class, but if you are curious you can watch the video to the right. Let me know if you are unable to download the app or if you do not have a smartphone, we will work together to see what will work for you.
