Richland School District Two
Welcome to my counseling website! As your school counselor, my goal is to support the success of all students. I work with students to assist them with academic, social/emotional, personal, and career needs and concerns. In addition to working directly with students, I partner with parents/guardians and teachers to help remove barriers to learning and development.
Meeting with the Counselor:
Students can come by anytime to fill out a "Let's Talk" slip or drop in if I am available. Parents and guardians, please feel free to call or email if you have any questions, concerns, or if you would like to set up a time to meet to discuss your student.
I look forward to working with all of our students and their families!

Families is our character education program at CFK and CFKN! Each child is placed with a group of students that will be their "family" from year to year. The group consists of students from all grade levels, allowing the older ones to mentor and lead the younger. Ideally, the staff member assigned to the group remains the same each year and allows an additional relationship on campus. There is a 30 minute lesson and activity, followed by a 30 minute award ceremony as a whole school. Two students per grade level are nominated to receive an award demonstrating the character trait highlighted in the lesson. We meet about four times per year (quarterly). It is a fun way for students to build relationships with other grade levels and work on skills needed to be successful at school and in the real world!
Richland Two has been designated as a Purple Star School District, a statewide recognition program that celebrates schools and districts that make a significant commitment to welcome and support military families.
A Military Family's Guide to School Transitions
Richland Two recognizes that there are families who may be in need of extra resources. Our schools will serve as a location within our community to receive food that will be distributed to families who self-identify as needing support. Families can reach out to their schools and speak with the Social Worker, School Counselor, and/or administration when food assistance is needed.
