Student Showcase

The Blythewood High School Orchestra Award

This award recognizes outstanding commitment and superior musicianship. It is the highest honor an orchestra student can achieve. It also recognizes excellence in playing and contributions to the orchestra program. It is awarded to one orchestra member each year.

The Director's Award

This award is given to an orchestra member for their leadership, character, integrity, and musicianship. It is awarded to one orchestra member each year.

Outstanding Student Awards

These awards are given to orchestra members based on their leadership, character, integrity, and musicianship. Orchestra members vote for outstanding student musicians within the orchestra in April each year.

The Rosin Awards

These awards are given to the students who took orchestra all four years of high school and are recognized for 'sticking with it!'
