Greetings Redhawks!
This is my 27th year as a professional educator! My how time flies! During those years I have served in various roles and most of the time, I have served as a chemistry and physics teacher. This year I am proud to be transitioning into my new role at Westwood as the Technology Learning Coach!
I have been Nationally Board Certified since 2001 and renewed my certification in 2021 for the second time. I served as Westwood's Teacher of the Year during the 2018-2019 and also Blythewood High School's Teacher of the Year during 2009-2010. My husband teaches in the CTE department at Richland Northeast High School and we have three beautiful children. Both of our daughters are proud graduates of Westwood High School and our son is currently a Redhawk. We are a proud Richland Two family.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year of supporting teachers, students, and parents/guardians as TLC as we #RISEASONE at Westwood. Welcome to Westwood!
