This model is intended to provide a rough estimate of a library's carbon emissions from physical books, online books, and regular operation of the library.
To use this model, enter your library's parameters through the Google form below. Please use an alias if you would prefer to keep your data anonymous, as project developers have access to the form where data are stored. To see your results, please scroll down and select the "click here for results" button.

This project was completed as part of the 2019-2020 Fondren Fellows program. It was created by James Sanders, a Rice University undergraduate majoring in Computational & Applied Math, under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Spiro.
