I am from Waynesboro, PA and I received a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Mathematics from Virginia Wesleyan University. As an undergraduate, I was a student-athlete as a member of the women's volleyball team, performed undergraduate research with my advisor, Dr. Eric Johnson, and participated in two REUs; one at Boston University and the other at NIEHS.
Following my undergraduate, I went on to earn my Ph.D. in Biomathematics from North Carolina State University in August 2024 under the advisement of Dr. Mette Olufsen.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral associate with Dr. Beatrice Riviere at Rice University. My research interests include 1D CFD, the Fontan circuit, blood perfusion, parameter inference, and statistical applications.
Outside of research, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, kids, and dogs.
