I am from Waynesboro, PA and I received a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Mathematics from Virginia Wesleyan University. As an undergraduate, I was a student-athlete as a member of the women's volleyball team, performed undergraduate research with my advisor, Dr. Eric Johnson, and participated in two REUs; one at Boston University and the other at NIEHS.
Following my undergraduate, I went on to earn my Ph.D. in Biomathematics from North Carolina State University in August 2024 under the advisement of Dr. Mette Olufsen.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral associate with Dr. Beatrice Riviere at Rice University. My research interests include discontinuous Galerkin implementation for transport models, 1D CFD, the Fontan circuit, blood perfusion, parameter inference, and statistical applications.
Outside of research, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, kids, and dogs.
