Brije is a company based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), as the base of the company, objective number 12 was taken, called "Responsible Production and Consumption". We aspire to be a company that makes a significant contribution to recycling, and a place of relaxation for families who visit our business.
The objetive of Brije is a business idea focused on promoting recycling and the collection and loan of used books, using recyclable materials to make furniture, promoting the consumption of national products and reducing the use of plastic by replacing it with biodegradable materials.
Sustainable Development Goals #12: Responsible Consumption and Production
Worldwide consumption and production — a driving force of the global economy — rest on the use of the natural environment and resources in a way that continues to have destructive impacts on the planet. Economic and social progress over the last century has been accompanied by environmental degradation that is endangering the very systems on which our future development — indeed, our very survival — depends.
Of the one and a half millions tons of solid trash that the country, El Salvador, generates in a year, only the 4% is recycled by people who live, most of them lives in the rural zone, they're are losing money, this thanks to the collection centers and some municipalities, because they don't bring any help to these people.
In the development of the project we explain what Brije is:
This is a coffee shop with a recycling theme that can be seen in its furniture and with a collection service and lending of used books, in which national consumption is encouraged with its products.
In which it is explained that Brije comes from the abbreviation of the word alebrije, which according to traditional Mexican art are spiritual guides.
It is an explained way of the different elements that are related to a brand and have very important information for it, Brije also developed its own brief where all these data are explained.
It is a document in which the entire graphic line of a brand is designed.Brije developed its own manual which explains the guidelines that must be followed, such as colors, fonts and other important data.
Multiple sketches were made, on which the prototypes would be based, in this case, being a coffee shop, it was decided to draw up sketches of what it will contain, such as chairs, and products.
