Today, Shopping Centers are synonymous with urban planning and innovation. They are present in capitalist consumer societies, in order to offer their customers and consumers a space where they can buy and have a moment of relaxation while enjoying a delicious meal or snack.
El Salvador is no exception. The last two decades have been one of complete urban development; locating in strategic points, combining proximity, modernity and the added value of its locations. In our Oasis shopping center, we take these ideas of proximity and modernity into account, taking them to another level, innovating with adaptable areas for people with reduced disabilities, friendly to the environment and above all technological.
Our Shopping Center is developed based on the Modern-Environmental Architectural style, It is based on recreating and coupling the natural environment without completely modifying its habitat, taking this into account, we mix the environmental environment with modern architectural style both for its simplicity, transparency and open spaces with windows, taking as a reference the name of our shopping center which is Oasis, coupling it to our design with warm tones (earth colors), water and abundant vegetation
The word oasis means a place in a desert in which water and vegetation can be found. In relation to our project, we consider the part of its vegetation and its meaning for the inspiration of our eco-friendly project, taking into account its functionality in the deserts of the world, based on this we propose to create a shopping center with a representative modern and environmental architecture applying the characteristics of the same.
OBJETIVES
• Design a shopping center by placing premises for functional use in order to solve the problems of the area by creating large spaces
• Investigate the problem near the area
• Define the quantity and measures to be used in the premises
When making a visit to the Quezaltepeque highway, in the municipality of Nejapa, the first thing that stands out in this area is the lack of commercial activity, we realize the need for a supermarket, bookstores, fast food stores, among others. places of daily human use, considering that in the nearby radius there are residential areas that do not have this type of service, neither inside nor outside it.
We conclude that we can solve this need by creating a shopping center, which covers all the problems derived from the lack of premises in the nearby territory.
To finish as a group, we want to create a space for a common good without interfering with the deforestation that exists when making a shopping center, so, knowing that fact, we opted to use an eco-friendly methodology, thus following the Oasis theme, considering the problem existing in the area due to the lack of nearby commerce.
