MECHANIC TRANSMISSION

A manual transmission is a gearbox that cannot alter the gear ratio on its own, requiring driver intervention to do this. Therefore, it differs from an automatic transmission in that the latter can change gears autonomously, it also has the mission of reducing or increasing the number of revolutions of the engine, according to the torque required at each moment. In addition to reversing the direction of rotation of the wheels, when the needs of the march require it.

WHAT WE DID

We completely disassembled the transmission box because we thought it had a problem with some part or some function that prevented the vehicle from running in its correct way, then after disassembling the box we verified that there was no problem in it in something internal but there were some parts that had to be replaced to avoid any damage in the future and we bought the spare parts such as bearings, insurance and other parts to avoid some extreme wear on them, we reassembled the box step by step according to how we had disassembled it and avoiding any problem in The pieces we replaced the old pieces with new ones carefully so as not to have any accidents in it and placing screws and with tools that helped us to carry out this work in the best way.

We also put a bushing on the lever since there were defects in it and it had to be replaced by obligation since there were very worn parts, we also made gaskets in them because the previous ones were already very old or they no longer had at all and new ones were made Handmade of your exact measure to replace them with the new ones and thus put them in the box and thus remain as new.

ABSTRACT

In our project we explain the mechanical transmission its function, which is important to know its operation when having the vehicle in motion, also the components since it is important the parts that make it up and work that they have between them as well as the repair of the transmission and tell the process from the disassembly of the parts that we buy to replace them, the expenses that went out for them also gear formulas that are of importance, the types of oil used for the gears also explain about what the 4x4 transmission is which is different from a manual with a 4x4 important parts such as the differential that greatly influences the transmission, the types of clutch that are very important in the transmission and something very important is the diagnosis of our project which is the transmission of a Mitsubishi pick up L200 and we verified the problem what we found in it that helped us to know about the transmission in general of it and to be able to know its defects.
