I’m really excited that I have the privilege to be your child’s math teacher this school year 2021-2022. My goal is not only to help teach students Math I/ 8th grade math content concepts, but also to inspire them to see math as fun, easy, and useful in the real world. Our classes will focus on the Four C’s: collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity with 21st century teaching. Students will be required to take notes in class and do homework almost every night. Mathematics must be practiced to achieve comprehension and fluency. To give more support to my students besides class time, I will be available after school between 3:10-4:00 PM Mondays-Fridays. Students are also encouraged to ask questions during class if they do not understand a concept. I look forward to working with your child this year.
