Krew is a work-management app for teams. It lets people see and update their tasks, track time, follow projects and workspaces, and read task reports. Krew is provided to people through their employer or organisation, and accounts are created by that organisation's administrators. This policy explains what information the Krew mobile app handles and why.
Information the app handles
Account and profile information. When your organisation creates your account, it enters details such as your name, email address, role, department, job title, employee ID and work schedule. It may also enter a contact number, date of birth and blood group. The app shows this information in your profile. Administrators and managers can see and edit the profiles of the people they manage.
Sign-in details. You sign in with your email address and password. After you sign in, the app keeps sign-in tokens on your phone in secure storage (the Android Keystore). If you tick "Save password", the app also keeps your email address and password in that secure storage, for up to five accounts, so you can sign in again with one tap and so it can renew your session. You can remove a saved account at any time from the sign-in screen.
Work content. The app sends to our servers the content you create or change in Krew: tasks, subtasks, comments, projects, workspaces and rooms, and the start and stop times recorded by the task timer. Other people in your organisation can see this content according to the roles and access settings your organisation has chosen.
Reports. Task reports are produced from your organisation's data. When you save a report as a PDF or Excel file, the file is stored in the app's private storage on your phone. It leaves your phone only if you choose Share or open it in another app.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, the app checks in the background for unread updates and shows them on your phone. This uses the same account data described above.
What the app does not do
- It does not show advertising.
- It does not use analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs.
- It does not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
- It does not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own use.
How your information is used
We use the information only to provide Krew to your organisation: to sign you in, show your work and your team's work, record time, produce reports and send notifications.
Where it is sent and how it is protected
The app communicates with Krew servers operated for RhythmRx over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Sign-in tokens and any saved sign-in details are kept in the phone's secure storage.
Keeping and deleting information
Your information is kept for as long as your organisation uses Krew. To ask for your information to be corrected or deleted, contact your organisation's Krew administrator, or write to us at ibeat.developer@rhythmrx.ai and we will pass the request to the organisation that holds your account.
Children
Krew is intended for working adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. The current version is always available at the address where you found it.
