Quaver: eLearning Quaver Quiz!
Please take this quiz to let me know how you are doing with eLearning and Quavermusic!
Quaver: QGrooves Free Play
Go to this assignment in Quaver. This is a QCreative where you can make your own music! This uses pre-made loops that you can drag into different instruments to create your groove.
There are five instrument groups: Keyboards, Synth, Drums, Percussion, Bass.
There are 8 measures but you can add more or less.
The tempo is set on moderato, which means medium speed- adjust it to go slower or faster!
The key is set in C major. The first submission you work on I would like you to stay in C major, but after you can change it up.
The genre or style of music starts on ROCK, but please experiment with different styles, it gives you more options for loops.
When you are happy with your creation click MENU at the top and SAVE, then SUBMIT.
If you want to send me a video of you listening to your final product I would love to see it! Either submit here or you can email it to me at icarey@rhschools.org
Quaver: Staff Champion Treble Clef
This tool will help you remember the note letters for the lines and spaces on the Treble Clef staff.
View these videos first before going to Quaver:
Every Good Boy Does Fine - MusicK8.com
THEN- Go to the assignment in Quaver. Practice by figuring out the correct letter for the note on the staff. Once you feel comfortable then go ahead and try Game Mode.
Quaver: Class Play Assignment
In Quaver under assignments you will see "Class Play Songs". This is a collection of songs that you can choose from that Quaver has in their program.
There are 126 of them- you DON'T have to listen to them all. Use the yellow arrow that says Next on the bottom of the screen to scroll through them. They are in alphabetical order.
Once you decide on the song click the upper left screen that says Lyrics. Then you can play the song and sing along with the words like we do in class.
I would love it if you picked one to practice and then have your parents record you singing along to it! Send the video to icarey@rhschools.org.
I miss you all so very much and hope to see you soon!
Love, Ms. Carey
