Virtual Notebooks

This year the students will be using Virtual Notebooks. Each student will have a notebook that is available in their Google Classroom and Google Drive. The notebooks will be used regularly throughout the school year. The notebooks will contain our daily journals, Marzano vocabulary work, class notes, Sentence Spotlight (grammar & punctuation practice), and free write space. These notebooks will help the students to keep their learning and classwork work in accessible location that is organized and readily available.

Google Classroom

The majority of our language arts class work and homework will be completed via Google Classroom. The students will be needing to check this daily as it will be updated with content, materials, assignments, and homework submissions. The class codes for Google Classroom will be made available during the first week of school. Students will also be invited to join the Student Spot via Google Classroom. The Student Spot is where all middle school teachers post their daily homework and important announcements.
