A little about me:
My name is Amanda Myers and 2020 will mark my 6th year at Rush-Henrietta. I am not a Rochester native, however. I grew up in a small town called Westfield, NY. It is right along the Lake Erie shoreline near the Pennsylvania border.
I attended college at SUNY Geneseo, where I received a degree in History, with a minor in American Studies.
I then attended SUNY at Buffalo (UB) to become a certified social studies teacher. I also received my Master's Degree in Social Studies Adolescent Education from UB!
In 2015, I moved to Rochester and have loved it! I currently live in the city with my boyfriend Tim, and our two cats, Teddy & Mittens.
