The way we approach these students can help our kids heal or possibly cause further harm. In this session, you will learn tips and tricks to work with our traumatized kids in a way to help them heal!

The restorative practices session we will walk through the perspectives of restorative practices and the tools and techniques that support us. We will bring examples of how these practices extend to all settings in school and beyond. This presentation will connect the indigenous and IIRP approaches and provide participants with examples of how these have been used in different school districts. It will also provide tools and real-life examples for those new to this approach and those more experienced. As a group we will also take time to explore questions that participants may have regarding restorative practices.
