CAREERS
As a school community, we have a clear student ethos. We want all Royal Harbour Academy students to be ready for all eventualities, to be honourable, even in the face of adversity, to aspire, aiming high and persisting in difficult times. This ethos sits at the core of our careers programme.
At the Royal Harbour Academy, we want:
all of our students to understand the full range of opportunities available to them, to learn from employers about work and the skills that are valued in the workplace, and to have first-hand experience of the workplace;
all of our students to receive an excellent programme of advice and guidance that individuals with the right skills and experience deliver;
all of our students to receive support tailored to their circumstances. All students should be able to access free face-to-face advice, with more bespoke support for those who most need it;
all of our students to get the information they need to understand the available job and career opportunities and how their knowledge and skills can help them consider suitable careers;
all of our young people to enjoy the exploration of opportunity.
CAREERS DAYS
Our careers days are for all year groups. Every subject will teach lessons around employment within that field and general employment skills.
