River Falls Public Montessori School Counseling

My name is Karen Swanson and I am the school counselor at RFPME! I'm so excited to be back for my fifth year here! I spent almost ten years as an elementary school counselor in Milwaukee.  I then spent a couple of years working in early childhood and as a parent educator. I am thrilled to be back as a licensed school counselor!  

My husband, Kyle, and I share a house in the woods near Stillwater with our big black lab, Red.  We have three grown-up boys and one grandson. I love to cook and bake, travel, read, hike, and kayak.  I am also Director of the Wisconsin School Counselor Association's Leadership Academy.
