Hello! My name is Corey Vandevelde, I am entering my Second Year at BRJH and Fifth Year in the Career of Teaching. During my time as a teacher, I have taught 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science classes. This year, I will be teaching three seventh grade and two electives for 7th grade. I am a firm-believer in the importance of STEM education, and my classes will always include an abundance of collaboration, technology, and hands-on projects and labs. I graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2016, where I played baseball for the University. I love video games, sports, astronomy, and Rock Music. Unfortunately, I am a die-hard Michigan Sports fan and I am ecstatic that our football team will not lose to Ohio State this year!
