Mr. Tennant began his teaching career in 2013 and has been a band director in the Reynoldsburg City School District since 2018. Originally from Reynoldsburg, Mr. Tennant was in Mrs. Robinson's middle school band at Hannah Ashton Middle School during the 2001-2002 school year! Mr. Tennant received a Bachelor in Music Education from THE Ohio State University. While at The Ohio State University, Mr. Tennant participated in numerous ensembles including The Ohio State University Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Collegiate Winds, Jazz Lab Band, Jazz Workshop Band and with the Trombone Studio. Mr. Tennant is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Ohio Music Education Association, National Association for Music Education and is an Eagle Scout. Prior to his appointment in the Reynoldsburg City School District, Mr. Tennant served one year as the Band Director for grades 5-12 in the RULH School District in Ripley, Ohio, one year as the Director of Bands at Everts Middle School in Circleville, and three years as the Director of Bands at Circleville High School. In his free time, Mr. Tennant enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as watching sports including, but not limited to, Buckeye Football/Basketball/Hockey, the Denver Broncos, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Columbus Crew.
