About Me

LUCIAN RICHARDS is a native of California. For many years he worked in various media, including photography, art glass, woodworking, and acrylics. After working in dimensional wall art, he now creates with acrylics on canvas. His focus on color and texture is very important in the overall theme and direction each piece takes.

Lucian lives in Round Rock/Austin, Texas with his wife Melanie, a musician, moving to the area in 2009 after spending over five years in Flagstaff, Arizona, where he was a member of the Flagstaff Artists' Coalition and an exhibiting member of the Artists' Gallery. He has sold artwork throughout the US and in the UK, and participates in local exhibitions and art fairs.

Lucian was formerly represented by Textures Gallery at ArtSpace, Scottsdale, AZ,  Joe Wilcox Fine Arts Gallery, Sedona, AZ, Sofi's, Salado, TX, and Art for the People, Austin, TX; he currently exhibits at Artisans Connect, Georgetown, TX.
