This is my 32nd year teaching, my 24th year teaching in Revere. I have taught at St. Columbkille in Parma and in the Cleveland Public Schools before coming to Revere. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, in addition to teaching music and PE; and I've also worked in special education and gifted education.

My husband Greg and I have five children who have all attended Revere Schools. My oldest son Walker is a teacher and is married and has two sons. My daughter Macy graduated from Toledo University in pharmacy and is in her third year of optometry school at Ohio State University. My daughter Cassie is a junior at OSU majoring in interior design. Owen is a senior and Allison is a sophomore at Revere High School. I love reading, writing, hiking, and spending time with family. Two personal goals I have are to become a writer of young adult books and to visit all the National Parks.

I am passionate about teaching and my goal is to make learning fun and exciting, while helping each student develop important life skills like communication, organization, mindfulness, perseverance, resilience, empathy, collaborating across differences, and working to one's best ability.

Hello!  My name is Jodi Hetman.  This is my 11th year teaching at Revere Local Schools. I started as a second grade teacher and moved to Bath as a fourth grade teacher when the new building opened. Last year I was excited to join the fifth grade team, focusing on math and science. 

I have one daughter, Abby, who is a sophomore at Revere High School.  We also have a zoo at home: three dogs and two cats. Our dogs, from oldest to youngest, are Ivy (miniature dachshund), Rhea (Golden mix), and Dyson (Siberian Husky). The cats are Zoey and Greyson. 

I am passionate about making learning relevant and fun for my students. I believe that everyone is capable of learning, making a difference, and being an amazing member of our community. I work with technology alot, enjoy learning about the new trends, and love to tackle challenges. 

Outside the classroom, I enjoy coaching speech and debate and producing our video announcements. The students that help with announcements are known as the "Voice of Bath," and I love getting creative with them. Please check them out on YouTube at @BathElementary.
