Issues, Practice and Research 

This course took a deep dive into something we don’t always talk about enough in education and instructional design: funding. While the title suggests a broad exploration of issues, practices, and research in our field, we focused on the very real challenge of turning big ideas into actionable plans by learning how to secure the resources to support them. 

Throughout the course, we explored how funding intersects with every part of our work as learning designers. We examined grant writing, funding sources, and strategies for aligning our goals with the priorities of potential funders.
