President

Greetings RES Family,

My name is Jacquia Robinson, and I am honored to serve as your 2023-2024 PTA President. I am a strategic solutions provider with outstanding portfolio/program management and conflict management skills, accomplished leader known for leading and implementing successful change management in projects (establishing and building credibility with executive teams and staff), and effective collaborator and team player who drives solutions (utilizing my expertise in communication). My educational background includes a B.S. in Psychology (Tuskegee University) and M.S. in Environmental Science (Webster University). I have (3) very intelligent and beautiful children.

My greatest service is to the many young women, and men, who have reached out to me for council, advice, support, and spiritual guidance. I will never tire from listening, teaching, coaching, and mentoring young women and men in need of someone who cares. I currently own a children’s painting business that creates wonderful ways for kids to express themselves, relax, and build new relationships. My painting business is called Jacq in the Art. Additionally, I am both the podcast host and chief executive officer of The Jacq Move. The Jacq Move is a mentorship program that teaches teenage girls how to gather up negative thoughts and combat them with what the Word says. I am currently working on an initiative to assist homeless families with attaining the basics to uplift their being and restore hope. This initiative is called Jacq’s Creative- “You can prevail over adversity!”.

Joining the PTA has always been a goal of mine. The PTA provides an opportunity to join the community in ensuring its vitals remain strong. Dr. Seuss once said “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”  This year I made the decision to transfer my 400 volunteer hours to PTA initiatives/strengthening. I am excited about bringing my skills to the RES Royals PTA and working together on enriching our young leaders and encouraging our staff. For these reasons and many more, I know that I will be an asset as the RES PTA President.
