All K-3 teachers, including special education teachers,
and principals are required to attend the HB 3 Reading Academies.
All administrators will take the blended cohort with Region 16.
All NEW 26-27 K-3 teachers/principals must be enrolled in a Texas Reading Academies cohort that launches no later than June 2027
Year 7 cohorts have been consolidated to three launch windows per year. Launch 1 will open at the end of July 2026 and close at the end of September 2026. (Launches 2 and 3 will be shared once TEA releases additional information.)

Database for TRA Completions: https://tea.texas.gov/tea-reading-academies
