We had our dress rehearsal for our in class performance. Students practiced standing while singing and bowing.

We reviewed for our test next week. Students need to know the values of each note, how to count beats in a measure and how to read the notes of the treble clef staff.

Students have been preparing for their in class performance next week. We had our final quiz of the quarter on the Baroque Era.

Students will be performing for their teachers the 4 songs that we've learned this quarter: Row, Row, Row Your Boat, BINGO, Make New Friends and On Top of Spaghetti.

Students are being tested on their abilities to read music. This skill will be foundational to performing on recorders and in our concert in December.

Students will take a two part test next week on Wednesday and Thursday. The first part will be a written test encompassing everything we've discussed this quarter about the Baroque
Era. The second part is an in class performance on their instruments.
