Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a widely-used, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that helps people understand and change patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to their psychological difficulties.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, skills-based therapy that helps you manage emotions, navigate relationships, and cope with distress through four core modules: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you build a rich, meaningful life by teaching you to accept difficult thoughts and feelings, connect with your values, and take committed action—even in the face of discomfort.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a proven therapy for OCD and anxiety that helps you gradually face feared situations while resisting compulsive behaviors—so you can reduce fear, regain freedom, and build confidence.
I see clients via virtual sessions primarily Monday-Friday 3-5 pm (PST) or 5-7 pm (CST). For a limited time, I am offering availability on Sunday afternoons starting July 2025.
I am licensed in Washington state and Illinois
Social workers trained in clinical social work bring a holistic perspective to therapy—understanding people not just through their symptoms, but in the context of their upbringing, environment, and relationships. My undergraduate background in Psychology and Neuroscience (Oberlin College) and my Master’s in Clinical Social Work (Loyola University Chicago) shaped this integrated, person-in-environment approach.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of training under psychologists and psychiatrists, gaining deep clinical experience in evidence-based care. I’ve specialized in treating eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. My advanced training includes DBT, CBT, ACT, Temperament-Based Therapy with Supports, Prolonged Exposure, Written Exposure Therapy for PTSD, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. I also hold certifications as an Eating Disorder Specialist (IAEDP) and in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) from the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety.
