Joe Lewis, known to thousands as Respiratory Coach, is a nationally recognized leader, educator, and advocate for excellence in respiratory care. Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Joe brings over two decades of real-world experience in adult emergency and ICU care straight into the classroom and onto the stage.
Since 2011, Joe has dedicated his career to shaping the next generation of Respiratory Therapists by teaching far beyond protocols and checklists. His approach emphasizes critical thinking, clinical application, and the human side of medicine compassion, empathy, and kindness when it matters most.
Joe is also the creator, executive producer, and host of The SHIFT, the first-ever respiratory care reality show, offering an authentic look inside the profession. Through his teaching, leadership, and digital platforms, he continues to inspire clinicians across the country to raise the standard.

Sarah Grace Seifried started working for Respiratory Coach Productions during the development of Season 1 of The Shift, before it even had its name. She is currently a Film and Creative Writing student at Texas Christian University. Sarah is excited for Season 2 of The Shift and what it may bring. The Shift fosters a positive atmosphere, and she wants to use her creative abilities to give the Respiratory Care field the attention it deserves and to provide career opportunities for film students like herself.

Brianna Rodriguez began working with Respiratory Coach Productions as a Camera Operator during the filming of The Shift Season 1. She is currently a senior at Texas Christian University, majoring in Film and Strategic Communication. Now, she’s recently stepped into the role of Associate Producer for Season 2 and is excited to expand her contributions to the project. She is passionate about the impact The Shift has in shining a light on respiratory therapy students while also creating real-world learning experiences for film and media students.
