Read Along was designed with privacy as a priority.
No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).
No Data Processing: While the app uses your device's camera to "see" and convert text into the OpenDyslexic font, all processing happens locally on your device.
No Cloud Storage: Images or text captured via the camera are not uploaded to any servers and are not stored permanently by the app.
To function correctly, the app requires access to:
Camera: Used solely to capture text for real-time conversion. We do not save or transmit any images captured.
The app does not use third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs that collect your data.
Because we do not collect any data, our app is safe for use by individuals of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from children.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
