My product is a DIY Cymatics Machine meant to demonstrate and display the physical effects of sound waves by capturing and harnessing the sound produced by a frequency generator, allowing observers to view the effects of these waves on smaller objects, such as salt.

The connection between my product and my research topic is concerning sound. Cymatics is the study of vibrations and waves and their impact on the physical world, and my research topic involves the study of sound, particularly the voice.
