HOW TO connect VR

General information

This document would help the RentFun Wizard work with VR on the racing/flying simulator

What you will need to prepare for VR experience

• 1x TV + TV stand

• 1x PC box (PC + keyboard + mouse)

• 1x extension cord

• 1x HDMI cable

• 1x power cable

• 1x VR box (VR headset +2x controllers + 3x cable)

Optional:

• Vibration vest set (vest + amplifier + 2x cable)

• Headphones

• Speaker

• Chair

Installation

Step 1) Connect TV with PC and TV to extension cord – use 2 cables:

• HDMI cable: TV (HDMI 3) <-> PC (HDMI)

• Power cable: TV (USB) <-> extension cord

Step 2) Connect PC to extension cord

Step 3) Connect the extension cord to the socket

Step 4) Turn on the PC and check that the TV and PC are working

Step 5) Connect the VR headset to the PC and the extension cord – use 3 cables:

WARNING: NEVER CONNECT VR BEFORE TURING ON PC!

• USB cable: VR headset <-> PC (USB)

• Jack cabel: VR headset <-> PC

• Power cable: VR headset <-> extension cord

Step 6) (Optional if vibration vest is part of the order) Connect vibration vest with PC and with amplifier  - use 2 cables: 

• Place the vest on the chair and attach the amplifier to the chair's backrest.

• USB cable: vest <-> PC (USB)

• Jack cable: vest <-> amplifier

• Turn on the amplifier with the ON/OFF button. You can adjust vibration or volume with the volume knob.

Step 7) (Optional if vibration vest is part of the order) Connect headphones to the power box on a chair 

• Jack cable: headphones <-> amplifier

Step 8) Turn on mouse and keyboard

• Insert USB wireless plugs from the mouse and keyboard into the PC and use the ON/OFF button on the mouse and keyboard

Step 9) Gaming test

• You should try to play the game to discover how to control it and to check that everything is working properly.

• To start the game, go to Start >  Steam >  Library >  choose game >  and start game >  play. To control the game, use a VR controller.

Step 10) Make your VR stand beautiful

• Try to hide all cables (especially the cables behind the TV)

• Clean all surfaces (black one with disinfection spray, TV screen with microfiber cleaning clothes)

• Make sure all items are aligned

Something doesn´t work? Try this

• Make sure all cables are correctly connected and are tight in place

• Try to restart the PC

• Read this manual again

• Try to change broken components or batteries

• Ask your colleagues

• Call the problem solver on your iPad as soon as you identify that something is not working
