What to expect during a session: 

To customize a tailored treatment for you MaryJane will gather information through listening to what you share, looking at how you hold your body, feeling for imbalances in the bony prominences, soft tissues, nervous system, and energetic body. You can either stay fully dressed or dress down to your comfort level. At times pressure might feel quite deep or light, it may be more vigorous or still - allowing intuition to guide the session while working on physical and energetic planes. It is common for emotions to come up in a session. Know that this is a safe place to fully feel these emotions and that it can be beneficial to the nervous system to do so. Heat, essential oils, flower essences, or crystals may be incorporated at times. MaryJane believes that ultimately you know your body best and strives to empower you to trust yourself as you work together in helping you reach your healing goals. When appropriate she can connect you with other practitioners or make recommendations for stretches, self massage techniques, or other topics to explore.
